Norway fines Grindr under GDPR

The world's largest social networking app for gay, bi, trans, and queer people received a fine of almost 10 million euros in Norway.

Norwegian Data Protection Authority fined Grindr 100,000,000 NOK, almost 10 million euros. According to the notification, Grindr disclosed personal data to third-party advertisers without a legal basis and disclosed special category personal data to third-party advertisers without a valid exemption.
